Use T-Brace
with Scaffolding
How to use T-Brace with
Scaffolding
When setting T-Braces up, gather lumber to be used - example: 2x10x16 and
2x6x16. When using the T-Brace system with scaffolding always place the 2x10 in the
T-Brace on top of the scaffolding
See Figure 1.
Figure 1
Slide one T-Brace to center of board. Slide a T-Brace onto each end placing them as
close to scaffolding as possible. Pull pins from two T-Braces, one in the center and one
on an end. Leave pin in one T-Brace on one end.
See Figure 2.
Figure 2
Insert 2x6 into T-Brace on the end that has the pin. Position 2x6 into bottom of two
T-Braces that have the pins removed.
See Figure 3 and Figure 4.
Figure 3
Figure 4
Return pins into two T-Braces. Be certain to secure the locking mechanism.

Place nails or screws into the nail holes provided on T-Brace to secure boards. The board is
now secured to the T-Brace.

NOTE: All pins must be in and locked to use T-Braces.
